Merz Aesthetics had organised an extensive three-month-long MAAT GoldenĀ Ratio Search across 10 countries to find the most proportioned faces inĀ Asia according to the measurements of the golden ratio, which saw moreĀ 3,000 submissions from Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia,Ā Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

maat golden ratioTHE MAAT GOLDEN RATIO SEARCH was the first such search forĀ well-proportioned faces across Asia and sought to provide information toĀ empower women to better understand facial proportions relative toĀ attractiveness. It used the science of measurements such as the GoldenĀ Ratio to create awareness on symmetrical facial ratios relative toĀ beauty. It was an integral part of the launch of the first medicalĀ guidelines that provide a holistic approach in aesthetic treatments toĀ achieve well-proportioned faces in Asians. The region-wide search was aĀ structured programme developed to support the objectives of the medical
guidelines, which is to bring science to life.
