Subway’s First Local Flavour - Rendang Sub and Pandan Cookie, Has Arrived!

Subway’s Rendang Sub.

We are so happy to share that amongst all the goodies coming out this National Day season, Subway Singapore will be launching their first-ever local flavour pairing: Rendang Sub and Pandan Cookie!

Their launch would also be tied with their first Community Impact initiative where the first 10,000 of these subs bought will be matched by the sandwich giant and distributed to staff and volunteers at vaccination centres, testing centres and the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) as they recognise their efforts in keeping our country safe. In light of the newly announced no dine-in measures, Subway will personally deliver the subs to them.

When Local Indulgence And Freshness Unite

Rendang is a familiar flavour to me as a Singaporean as the spices will always stay in our palates whenever we eat it. And this familiar flavour will now be available to all Singaporeans via their new Rendang Sub that comes in both chicken and beef! The scent of the rendang is strong and when I took the first bite, I was reminded of all the delicate spices which include turmeric, ginger, garlic, lemongrass and many more. The meat was also very tender and juicy, making the sub delicious with an aromatic taste.

Subway recommends pairing the rendang meat with Old English Cheddar Cheese, Mixed Greens, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Mixed Pepper and Onions for an especially flavourful explosion.

Subway’s Pandan Cookie

In addition to the rendang sub, is another familiar flavor which is pandan. To me personally, the pandan cookies reminded me of the waffles I ate when I was a child. It was sweet and at the same time very aromatic for pandan lovers. The naturally sweetened and chewy Pandan cookie elevates the decadent and aromatic experience when paired with the rendang sub.

Thanks To All Fighting Against COVID-19
